Local Connections Matter

About Jayson Olthoff

Building Stronger Businesses Through Stronger Connections

For 25 years, I proudly served in the U.S. military, learning leadership, discipline, and service at the highest level. During most of this time, I spent 25 years in the insurance industry, helping families and business owners protect what matters most.

Those years taught me that success isn’t just about numbers — it’s about people, relationships, and the connections that carry us through every challenge and opportunity.

“Connection is the heartbeat of every thriving community.”

We Are Local

As the founder of We Are Local, I shine a spotlight on the incredible businesses that make Great Falls, Montana a place worth celebrating. From retail shops to local services, our platform connects people to the entrepreneurs who give our city its personality and heart.

The Connection Doctor

Through The Connection Doctor, I help entrepreneurs and leaders build meaningful, strategic relationships that create opportunities and lasting success. I believe that relationships before transactions is more than a motto — it’s the key to sustainable business growth.

CAB (Coffee and Business)

Every week at CAB, I host local business owners and professionals for real conversations, shared ideas, and community collaboration. It’s not just networking — it’s a movement built on mentoring, support, and helping each other grow.

“When we connect, we create. When we create, we grow.”

My Mission

To empower local businesses to start, grow, and thrive by connecting them with the tools, people, and ideas that make success possible — because when local businesses win, our entire community wins.
